The existing Ecobee set up takes advantage of the PEK simply because I believe you will find only four or five wires going through the thermostat for the furnace but I can pretty effortlessly add far more wires if required to get 2 levels (thermostat is almost instantly previously mentioned the furnace which is during the unfinished basement).
